About your new employer:

• This global firm advises major international clients across complex contentious matters including commodity disputes, trade finance issues, insolvency-related litigation, contractual disputes, fraud, enforcement actions and recovery proceedings.
• The team acts for a diverse range of domestic and international clients across sophisticated commercial disputes.
• Lawyers are actively involved in matters from an early stage and work closely with colleagues across the firm’s Australian and international offices.

About the role:

• Run and assist with complex insolvency and commercial litigation matters.
• Develop litigation strategy and manage client relationships.
• Work across pleadings, discovery, negotiations, mediations and court proceedings.
• Mentor junior lawyers and contribute to a collaborative specialist disputes team.

The ideal candidate:

• 5–8 years post admission experience.
• Strong insolvency and commercial litigation experience.
• Experience running complex disputes with autonomy.
• Strong technical, communication and client management skills.
