Technician / Motor Mechanic - Automotive Dealership

Due to continued growth and we expect this to keep going, we are seeking the expertise of a qualified Technician to join our Service department at Frankston Toyota. 

Main duties for this position will be but not limited to:

• Carry out vehicle repairs and/or maintenance as per repair order and to Vehicle Manufacturer, Dealership and Customer requirements and report promptly to workshop controller whenever this cannot be done;

• Used car reconditioning and roadworthy License would be advantageous.

• Maintain a sound knowledge of all Dealership products and services;

• Request assistance from Workshop Controller when diagnoses of a problem is required

• Be responsible for the care and use of all workshop tools and equipment and return to correct place after use;

• Fill all related paperwork as per dealership standards – including proper description of work carried out on repair orders;

• Return vehicles in a clean condition after repairs;

• Keep a complete and up to date tool kit

• To be considered for this position you will possess the following:

• Full Victorian driver’s licence (manual)

• RWC License 

• Qualifications in motor mechanics

• High attention to detail and ability to read and understand instructions

• Be physically fit
