About us

BH Electrics is a Port Douglas electrical contractor. Four sparkies, two apprentices, an office that picks up the phone, and Brad and Leanne who still know every job on the board. We've built the business on being straight with people — clients and crew both.

The work

Genuinely varied, which is the bit most sparkies tell us they miss. In any given month you might be doing a resort fit-out, a switchboard upgrade for a strata block, exit and emergency testing across a commercial site, a reno for a homeowner, and something unexpected out at the barramundi farm. Commercial, residential, industrial — you'll touch all of it.

Our clients are resorts, real estate agents, builders, strata managers, pubs, backpackers, tourism operators and homeowners across the Douglas Shire and up into the Daintree.

What you'll need

• Electrical licence (A grade)

• Open driver's licence

• Ability to work unsupervised and talk to a client without being told how

• The usual: white card, own hand tools
