Electrician

About the role

Phase Dynamic is seeking a motivated and adaptable Electrician to join our growing team based in Mackay. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys working across a broad range of electrical disciplines, from commercial fit-outs and air conditioning installations through to industrial projects, high-voltage protection systems, relay testing, commissioning, and fault finding. No two weeks will be the same. You'll have the opportunity to develop your skills across multiple industries and work on technically challenging projects throughout the region.

Key responsibilities

• Commercial electrical installations and shop fit-outs

• Air conditioning installation and commissioning

• General electrical maintenance and fault finding

• Industrial electrical works and shutdown support

• High-voltage switching support and commissioning activities

• Protection relay testing and commissioning

• Switchboard modifications and upgrades

• Electrical testing, inspection, and reporting

• Working closely with mining, industrial, and commercial clients

• Assisting with project delivery from planning through to commissioning

About you

• Current Queensland Electrical Licence

• Current Driver's Licence

• Strong fault-finding and troubleshooting skills

• Ability to work independently and as part of a team

• Commitment to safety and quality workmanship

• Excellent communication skills and a positive attitude

• Willingness to learn and develop new skills across multiple disciplines

• Air Conditioning & Refrigeration Licence (highly regarded)

• HV Switching Certification (highly regarded)

• Protection Relay Testing experience (highly regarded)
