This role operates within Westhaven’s Immediate Transition Model (ITM), designed to support children and young people with complex needs and trauma backgrounds. Through trauma-informed care, structured support, and daily guidance, you will help create a safe, stable environment where young people can build confidence and thrive.

As a Support Worker, no two days are the same. You will provide 24/7 relational and therapeutic support by:

• Providing a safe, nurturing, and structured home environment for young people.

• Supporting daily living skills, emotional regulation, and personal development.

• Facilitating community engagement, educational support, and recreational activities.

• Note: As children and young people require round-the-clock care, 24/7 shift availability (including active night shifts, weekends, and sleepovers) is required.
