We are seeking a Medical Programs Manager to join School of Medicine, Faculty of Health.

The Medical Programs Manager provides high-level management of QUT’s Medical Programs. The role is accountable for ensuring program quality, compliance with AMC standards and strong partnerships with health services and government. This position works in close partnership with the Dean and Head of School, and Medical School staff to safeguard accreditation, mitigate risks, deliver an outstanding student and graduate experience and to maintain clinical school staff engagement, integration and satisfaction.

What you need to succeed

1. Postgraduate qualifications and extensive relevant experience, or an equivalent combination of relevant experience and/or education/training.
2. Demonstrate authoritative knowledge of Australian Medical Council accreditation standards and processes, including experience with AMC submissions, monitoring reports, or accreditation reviews. Deep understanding of medical education regulatory requirements including AHPRA and Medical Board of Australia frameworks.
3. Demonstrated success in leading large-scale, high-risk, externally regulated programs with institution-wide impact.
4. Demonstrated expertise in the design, implementation and management of program-level evaluation frameworks and strategies in medical or health professions education.
5. Demonstrated ability to analyse, interpret and synthesise data to inform decision-making, continuous quality improvement and reporting, including the use of qualitative and quantitative methods and technology-enabled tools.
6. Demonstrated ability to lead high-level governance processes, including managing external stakeholders and reporting to peak bodies.
7. Exceptional interpersonal and negotiation skills, with experience representing an organisation to government, regulators, or professional bodies.
8. Demonstrated commitment to equity, diversity and Indigenous Australian engagement.
