As District Manager, you will provide strategic and operational leadership within a complex service delivery environment.
You will lead multidisciplinary teams, oversee case management, and ensure strong governance, risk management and operational performance. The role requires building a culture of accountability, inclusion and continuous improvement while managing competing priorities and emerging challenges. You will contribute to the strategic direction of the organisation and develop effective stakeholder partnerships that support rehabilitation outcomes, and safer communities
Community Corrections supervises adults serving community-based orders or released on parole by Parole Board Queensland. Committed to community safety and reducing reoffending, the service supports positive behavioural change to help individuals lead productive, crime-free lives.
As District Manager, you will provide strategic and operational leadership within a complex, high-risk and dynamic service delivery environment. You will lead the delivery of offender management and case management services, ensuring effective governance, legislative compliance, risk management and operational performance while contributing to the strategic direction of Community Corrections.
You will lead, develop and support a multidisciplinary workforce by setting performance expectations, providing coaching and feedback, and fostering a culture of accountability, inclusion, wellbeing and continuous improvement. You will build workforce capability through effective performance management, training and professional development, while maintaining contemporary knowledge of correctional practice, leadership, legislation, policy and organisational priorities. You will establish and maintain productive partnerships with sentencing authorities, government agencies, and community service providers to support effective service delivery and achieve rehabilitation outcomes.
As a senior leader, you will contribute to the strategic direction of Community Corrections by translating organisational priorities into local action, leading change, managing risk and driving operational excellence. Through visible, values-based leadership, you will create a culture that balances accountability with support, and advances the organisation's commitment to community safety, rehabilitation and reducing reoffending.
