Bourke Aboriginal Corporation Health Service (BACHS) is seeking an experienced and passionate Social and Emotional Wellbeing (SEWB) Manager to provide leadership, direction and operational oversight across our SEWB services and programs in Bourke, NSW.
This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced health, mental health or social services leader to shape culturally safe, community-focused services and lead a multidisciplinary team committed to improving social and emotional wellbeing outcomes for the Bourke community.
Reporting to the DCEO, the SEWB Manager will lead the day-to-day operations and future development of BACHS' Social and Emotional Wellbeing services and programs.
You will provide strategic and operational leadership, support and mentor staff, oversee program performance and funding requirements, and develop strong partnerships with community organisations, government agencies and other service providers.
Key responsibilities include:
You will be an experienced and collaborative leader who understands the importance of culturally safe, community-led healthcare. You will bring strong people leadership, relationship-building and operational management skills, along with the ability to work effectively with staff, community members and external stakeholders.
You will ideally have:
A $130,000 negotiable salary, vehicle, housing, professional development and ongoing support – combined with the opportunity to make a genuine community impact.
This is more than a management position. It is an opportunity to influence the future direction of Social and Emotional Wellbeing services in Bourke and work alongside a dedicated team to deliver services that are responsive, culturally safe and centred on community needs.
