About the role

This is an exciting opportunity to join Billabong Kids Central Woolgoolga as an Early Childhood Educator. Working on a part-time, full-time, or casual basis, you will play a crucial role in providing quality early childhood education and care to children in our vibrant and nurturing centre.

Key responsibilities

• Maintain a safe, stimulating, and inclusive environment that promotes the wellbeing of all children
• Adhere to all relevant regulations, policies, and procedures to ensure compliance
• Participate in professional development opportunities to continuously improve your practice
• Assist in the preparation, implementation, and evaluation of developmentally appropriate programs for individual children or groups
• Record observations of individual children or groups for program planning purposes for qualified staff

About you

• Hold a Certificate III or Diploma in Early Childhood Education and Care (or working towards these qualifications)
• Hold a valid Working with Children Check
• Have completed the mandatory Child Safe Training via Gecko
• Are reliable, professional and willing to contribute to the centre
• Can work collaboratively and positively as part of a team
• Are passionate about providing high quality care and education for children and their families
• Build warm and respectful relationships with children and families
