Group Exercise - Cycle Instructors

About the role
In this role, you will lead engaging and safe group fitness of our Cycle classes, ensuring participants of all levels enjoy a positive and inclusive experience. This opportunity will enable you to gain further experience and training in Les Mills RPM with potential to run a class for 12 weeks (at Norlane ARC).

You will also assist with customer service, program administration, and minor first aid and cleaning duties, supporting the smooth operation of the Swim Sport and Leisure centre.

Work type: Casual
Classification: $54.10 p/h (including casual loading)

Key responsibilities include:

• Responsible for the safe, timely and effective set up, pack up and instruction of group exercise.
• Assisting with customer service duties.
• Performing minor cleaning.
• Assisting in administering first aid.
• Assisting in program administration/promotional duties.

About you
The ideal candidate, will have previous experience teaching group fitness programs, particularly cycle classes, and have the confidence and ability to liaise with a diverse range of people. You will have a friendly, outgoing personality and be committed to providing a quality level of service to the community.

Essential Experience:

• Experience in teaching cycle classes, with relevant cycle instructor qualifications
• Provide First Aid certificate.
• Current CPR.
• Working with Children Check.
• Preferred candidates will be required to undergo a National Police Check and a pre-employment medical assessment as part of the recruitment process (funded by the City).
