Warehouse Supervisor (Day Shift)

Job Purpose

JOB DESCRIPTION

We are currently seeking a Warehouse Supervisor to join our Landside Logistics team in, based in West Melbourne. In this role, responsible for who ensures the daily warehouse operation runs safely, smoothly, and on time. This role is critical to maintaining service reliability, compliance, and operational discipline.

This is a permanent full-time position working Monday to Friday, 6:00am to 2:00pm.

Key Accountabilities

Lead, coach, motivate and develop the warehouse team to achieve daily operational targets and maintain high performance standards. Take accountability for the performance, capability and conduct of direct reports, ensuring team members are trained, competent and managed in line with company processes. Promote a strong safety-first culture and ensure compliance with WHS, quality, legislative and operational requirements. Coordinate warehouse and logistics activities to ensure orders are fulfilled accurately, efficiently and on time. Liaise with transport providers, suppliers and customers to meet service expectations, resolve issues and support new customer onboarding. Identify and implement opportunities to improve processes, optimise performance and deliver cost efficiencies

Qualifications, Skills And Experience

Minimum 5 years’ experience in warehousing or logistics, including experience in bonded or regulated environments. At least 3 years’ experience in a supervisory or leadership role, with proven people leadership, coaching and performance management skills. Strong knowledge of Warehouse Management Systems, together with a sound understanding of Chain of Responsibility and WHS requirements. Strong communication, organisational and problem-solving skills, with the ability to work effectively with internal and external stakeholders. High attention to detail and a customer-focused approach, supported by a commitment to safe, accurate and efficient operations.
