About the role
Chalice is a leading ASX-listed exploration specialist located in West Perth with an unrivalled portfolio of district-scale, precious and base metals projects across Australia.
Our major greenfield discovery in early 2020, Gonneville, defined a new mineral province in Western Australia – the West Yilgarn Ni-Cu-PGE Province.
In addition, Chalice holds several other generative exploration opportunities across WA, NT and SA.
The Gonneville Resource contains a unique blend of critical minerals essential for decarbonisation and urbanisation, including palladium, platinum, nickel, copper and cobalt. Due to its strategic importance, the discovery has recently been approved as a “Strategic Project” by the Western Australian State Government and granted “Major Project Status” by the Australian Federal Government.
It is Australia’s first major palladium discovery located less than 90 minutes’ drive from the Perth CBD, Gonneville offers truly unique and convenient access to site.
The impact of this globally significant discovery has been profound for Chalice, cementing its reputation as one of the most exciting and innovative explorers in Australia. Now is the time to join this team!
Join a dynamic team of geoscience professionals and play a key role in supporting one of the most exciting and expansive project portfolios! We're looking for an experienced Tenement and Compliance Geologist to step into a 12-month fixed-term contract, covering parental leave, where you'll be at the heart of our statutory reporting and tenement compliance function.

Working closely with, and gaining exposure to, our Exploration team across an extensive project portfolio
Putting your GIS skills to great use – map making, GIS data manipulation and maintaining tenement/exploration databases (QGIS or similar)
Managing tenement applications and withdrawal forms through our tenement managers (MMTS)
Handling partial relinquishments and surrenders
Keeping on top of tenement expenditure commitments and drafting exemption from expenditure applications where required
Bringing your tenement management, compliance and reporting experience to a fast-paced, supportive team environment
Skills and Experience
Bachelor of Science in Geology (or equivalent qualification)
5+ years industry experience
Previous experience in report writing and data compilation
Skill user of GIS (QGIS preferred) as well as MS Office applications
Strong written and verbal communication skills
Detail-orientated and highly organised
