Commercial Door Installer

$40–$46 per hour + Super + Company Vehicle | Stable Long-Term Role

KMF Doors is a respected, family-owned business specialising in the installation, servicing, and repair of commercial shopfront doors across South East Queensland. With nearly 20 years in operation and strong manufacturer partnerships, we’re known for reliability, quality workmanship, and long-standing client relationships.

We’re growing — and we’re looking for an experienced, dependable Shopfront Door Installer.

About the Role

This is a hands-on role focused on installing and servicing:

• Commercial shopfront Security Closures

• Commercial Roller shutters

• Aluminium bi-fold doors

You’ll work across shopping centres, retail precincts, and commercial sites throughout SEQ — from breakdowns and repairs to new installations.

Early starts (typically on-site around 6am) are part of the job. Our clients operate before trading hours, so you’ll enjoy beating the traffic and finishing earlier.

We’re seeking someone with proven experience in one or more of the following:

• Roller shutters

• Aluminium doors

• Shopfront or commercial door installation

• Shopfitting or similar trades

You’re someone who:

• You bring reliability and a positive attitude to your role.

• Has strong attention to detail and accurate measuring skills

• Communicates professionally with clients and other trades

• Works well independently and as part of a small, supportive team

• Takes pride in doing quality work

✔ Manual driver’s licence
✔ Construction White Card
✔ Ability to start early (6am on-site)
✔ Strong mechanical/hand tool skills
✔ Full working rights in Australia

• Above Award Rates $40–$46 per hour, negotiable pending experience

• Company vehicle and Fuel Card
