About the role
Our Organisation
At The Benevolent Society, we believe every person deserves to live life on their own terms, with dignity, respect and a sense of belonging. For over two centuries, this belief has shaped who we are and how we work.
We’re working towards a just society where everyone feels valued, safe and included. Through trauma-informed, culturally responsive and child-centred practice, you’ll support families to build on what’s already working, reduce risk and create positive, lasting change.
This role offers the opportunity to form genuine, trusting relationships and see the real impact of your work over time. You will engage with families through regular home visits, undertake thoughtful assessments, develop achievable and family-led plans, and coordinate practical, therapeutic and community supports. Alongside advocacy and collaboration with other services, you’ll be part of a passionate, growing team shaping a new Families Together program locally, contributing your ideas, expertise and values while being supported to do your best work in a role that is both professionally rewarding and deeply fulfilling.
