About the role
Our Rigging Traineeship Program is an exciting 18-month development pathway designed to help you build a rewarding career in the construction and resources industry. Through a combination of hands-on experience and formal training, you will work towards achieving a Certificate III in Rigging and becoming a qualified Intermediate Rigger.
As a full-time Trainee, you will join our Heavy Lift team, working on a FIFO roster across a variety of projects throughout Australia. You will also attend structured training at our Employee Development Centre (EDC) in Bibra Lake, gaining the practical skills, technical knowledge and industry experience needed to succeed.

Key Responsibilities:
• Commit to successfully completing the 18-month traineeship program
• Attend and actively participate in all training requirements outlined in your training plan
• Demonstrate a strong commitment to safety and working effectively within a team environment
• Take ownership of your learning and qualification outcomes
• Be flexible and willing to work across multiple projects and locations within the construction industry
• Contribute positively to team objectives while developing practical rigging skills and experience
What You'll Bring:
• Australian working rights
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment
• An interest in rigging and the construction industry (previous rigging experience is not required)
• A current Australian manual driver's licence
• A positive attitude, strong work ethic and genuine commitment to completing the traineeship
• A willingness to learn, develop new skills and take on feedback
• An understanding of, and readiness for, the FIFO lifestyle and working away from home
• A strong commitment to safety and maintaining safe work practices
• Flexibility to work across multiple project locations throughout Australia
• Motivation to build a long-term career within the industry and progress your qualifications and skills
