Position Details:

Holy Rosary School Doubleview is a high-performing, double-stream Catholic primary school in Perth’s western suburbs with a strong reputation for academic excellence, student wellbeing and community engagement.

As part of our School Improvement Plan, we are continuing to strengthen evidence-informed teaching practices through the Science of Learning, explicit instruction, collaborative professional practice and high-impact approaches combined with student wellbeing strategies that ensure every student achieves wholistic growth. Selection Criteria:

1.    Commitment to supporting and promoting the Catholic ethos of the school.
2.    Strong knowledge of the Science of Reading and Science of Learning, with the capacity to translate research into effective classroom practice.
3.    Demonstrated ability to achieve strong student learning outcomes through explicit, evidence-informed teaching.
4.    Capacity to develop positive, trusting and respectful relationships with students to support their wellbeing.
5.    Commitment to collaborative practice, feedback and continuous improvement.
6.    Excellent interpersonal, communication and organisational skills.
7.    Enthusiasm for contributing to the life of the school and building strong partnerships with families.

Qualifications Required:
1.    Relevant teaching qualification.
2.    TRBWA registration.
3.    Working With Children Check.
4.    Formal training or demonstrated experience in evidence-informed practice (desirable).
