Handyman / Maintenance Technician (Full-Time) – Melbourne

Gen Z Trade Group is growing, and we’re looking for a reliable, switched-on Handyman / Maintenance Technician to join our team. We work closely with real estate agencies across Melbourne, completing rental minimum standards checks and a wide range of residential maintenance works.

About the Role

You’ll attend residential properties across Melbourne to carry out:

• Rental Minimum Standards safety checks

• General property maintenance and repairs

• Hands-on tasks including tiling repairs, plastering/patching, hanging doors, and painting

• Basic plumbing, carpentry, and minor electrical work (within licence limits)

• Quoting, reporting, and job updates via our system

• Ongoing communication with our office team and property managers

About You

To be a great fit, you will have:

• Proven handyman or maintenance experience

• Solid, hands-on ability across tasks such as tiling, plastering, door installs/adjustments, and painting

• Strong attention to detail and pride in neat, quality workmanship

• The ability to work independently and manage your daily schedule

• Good communication and customer service skills

• A current driver’s licence

• Experience working with real estate agencies (preferred but not essential)
