About the role
About the role:
Working as part of a dedicated casework team, you will help residents maintain connections to their cultural and local community networks while accessing the supports they need to rebuild their lives.
This role focuses on engagement with emerging culturally and linguistically diverse (CALD) communities, providing information, advocacy, and support around domestic and family violence. You will work collaboratively with Link Wentworth Housing & local community organisations, and specialist support services to strengthen service partnerships and improve outcomes for residents.
The successful candidate will contribute to the development, delivery and evaluation of community programs that respond to the needs of women, children and families experiencing domestic and family violence. This includes supporting grant applications, building community partnerships, coordinating program activities and ensuring funded initiatives are delivered effectively and achieve meaningful outcomes for participants and the broader community.
Experience in program development, grant writing, project coordination or community engagement is highly regarded. Lived experience is welcomed and valued, and we encourage applicants who bring personal insight, cultural knowledge and a strong understanding of the communities we support.
Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people are strongly encouraged to apply. We particularly welcome applicants who can contribute to culturally safe, inclusive and strengths-based engagement with Aboriginal women, children and families
