Our highly experienced Wet-seal Hobart Franchisee is looking for a reliable, motivated and hands-on person to join the team as a Waterproofing Applicator.

This is an excellent opportunity for someone with building industry experience who enjoys practical work, takes pride in doing a quality job and wants to develop specialised waterproofing skills within an established and respected business.

You will receive comprehensive training in Wet-seal waterproofing systems and initially work alongside an experienced applicator until you are confident and competent in Wet-seal's product application and quality requirements.

An immediate start is available due to a strong and busy forward workload across the Hobart area.

The Role

Your responsibilities will include:

• Applying Wet-seal waterproofing systems to internal and external wet areas of residential and other buildings.

• Preparing areas ready for waterproofing in accordance with Wet-seal specifications.

• Travelling to and from scheduled job sites throughout the Hobart area.

• Arriving at jobs on time and working efficiently to meet daily schedules.

• Completing jobs to Wet-seal's quality, safety and application standards.

• Providing job completion information to the management team.

• Communicating professionally with builders, supervisors, other trades and customers on site.

• Maintaining a clean, safe and organised work environment.

• Working independently and as part of the wider Wet-seal Hobart team.

• Working the reasonable hours required to complete scheduled jobs and meet customer timelines.

• Professional and tidy in their personal presentation.

Waterproofing or tiling experience is highly regarded but not essential. Experience preparing or installing screeds would also be an advantage.

Essential Requirements

Applicants must have:

• Previous building or construction industry experience.

• A current construction industry White Card.

• A current Australian driver's licence, with a manual licence preferred.

• The legal right to work in Australia.

• The physical capability to undertake an active, hands-on construction role.
