Male NDIS Support Worker – Subcontractor | Warragul

Sweet Pea Support Services is seeking a reliable and experienced male NDIS Support Worker to join our team as an independent subcontractor in Warragul.

This is an ongoing subcontract opportunity, not an employee position. The successful applicant must have their own ABN and operate as an independent contractor.

Approximately 13 regular hours are currently available each week across two existing Sweet Pea participants:

• Tuesday 12:00 pm–5:00 pm
• Tuesday 5:00 pm–8:00 pm
• Friday 12:00 pm–5:00 pm

The role includes disability support, mental health support, community access and trauma-informed care. Applicants must be confident supporting participants who may display behaviours of concern. One of the shifts also involves working with children.

We are looking for someone who is calm, reliable, professional and able to build strong, respectful relationships with participants.

Requirements include:

• ABN and appropriate subcontractor insurance
• NDIS Worker Screening Check
• Police Check
• Working With Children Check
• Current First Aid and CPR
• Current driver licence
• Reliable and insured vehicle
• Experience in disability and/or mental health support
• Understanding of trauma-informed support
• Confidence supporting behaviours of concern

Participants remain clients of Sweet Pea Support Services. The successful subcontractor will provide supports on behalf of Sweet Pea Support Services and invoice Sweet Pea for completed shifts.

Subcontractor rate is negotiable based on experience, qualifications and suitability.
