About the role

The Sadadeen Clinic Manager provides leadership, management and coordination of comprehensive primary health care to the Sadadeen Clinic, ensuring cultural integrity and high standards of clinical care and client flow.

Team Description

The position sits within the Clinical Services Division and leads a multidisciplinary team of General Practitioners, Registered Nurses, Aboriginal Health Practitioners, Aboriginal Liaison Officers, Transport Officers and Medical Receptionist and works collaboratively with all Congress services and programs. The Sadadeen Clinic Manager also provides operational leadership to SEWB staff that operate in the clinic under a shared leadership arrangement with SEWB Manager.

What are we looking for?

The person to fit this role will have:

• Registered with AHPRA as a Registered Nurse or Aboriginal Health Practitioner with a minimum of 5 years' post-graduate and experience in clinical leadership.
• Proven extensive experience in clinical leadership and management of a team that resulted in the effective delivery of services to community, including the ability to implement strategic plans, analyse and address complex issues, and prepare correspondence.
• Sound knowledge and understanding of primary health care service delivery and systems they relate to the Aboriginal community and a demonstrated commitment to Aboriginal Community Control.
• Knowledge of quality and accreditation including RACGP accreditation processes and requirements of primary health care services, program evaluation and the use of evidence based practices, financial and human resource management, consumer involvement and primary health care planning processes.
• Excellent interpersonal, written and oral communication skills, including the ability to negotiate, collaborate and facilitate in a multidisciplinary environment, maintain positive relationships and liaise at all levels and from a range of social and cultural backgrounds.
• Current NR Drivers License.
