Drive enterprise bargaining outcomes and provide trusted industrial relations expertise across CHEP's national supply chain operations.
Reporting to the Senior HR Business Partner, Supply Chain and based at Macquarie Park, this 13-month parental leave contract offers the opportunity to take ownership of enterprise bargaining and industrial relations activities across CHEP's national operations.
You will partner with leaders across the business to provide practical, commercially focused advice on enterprise agreements, bargaining negotiations, Fair Work matters and union engagement, while helping shape positive outcomes for both employees and the business.
About The Job
As the subject matter expert for enterprise agreements and industrial relations matters within Supply Chain, you will:
Support the planning and delivery of enterprise bargaining negotiations across multiple operational locationsPrepare bargaining materials, employee communications and Fair Work Commission submissionsPartner with operational leaders to navigate enterprise agreement negotiations and industrial relations mattersProvide practical advice on the interpretation and application of enterprise agreements, awards and industrial instrumentsConduct BOOT assessments and support remuneration and compliance analysisManage Fair Work Commission correspondence and industrial relations documentation.Support the implementation of new enterprise agreements and associated business changes.Contribute to ER resources, toolkits, training materials and continuous improvement initiatives
What Will Ensure Your Success
You are a commercially minded Employee Relations or Industrial Relations specialist who enjoys partnering with business leaders and operating in a practical, solutions-focused environment.
You'll Bring
Experience in Employee Relations, Industrial Relations or Human ResourcesDemonstrated experience supporting enterprise bargaining activities and union engagement within manufacturing, construction or a related heavily unionised industrial environmentStrong working knowledge of the Fair Work Act, Enterprise Agreements and Modern AwardsExperience interpreting complex industrial instruments and providing practical advice to stakeholdersExposure to Fair Work Commission processes and documentationExcellent written communication skills, including drafting correspondence, submissions and briefing materialsStrong stakeholder engagement and influencing capabilityHigh attention to detail and the ability to manage competing prioritiesA tertiary qualification in Human Resources, Industrial Relations, Employment Law or a related field is preferred
