3/4Year or Fully Qualified Heavy Vehicle Mechanic

We are seeking an experienced and reliable Heavy Vehicle Mechanic and 3rd/4th year Apprentice Heavy Vehicle Mechanic to join our growing team. This role involves the maintenance, servicing, and repair of trailers and heavy vehicles within a busy transport workshop environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform scheduled servicing, inspections, and repairs on heavy vehicles and trailers
• Diagnose and repair mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic faults
• Ensure all work is completed to a high standard and in line with safety requirements
• Maintain accurate service records and reports
• Work collaboratively with workshop staff and management to meet operational needs

Requirements:

• Current Driver's Licence (essential)
• Qualification in Heavy Vehicle or Commercial Trailer Servicing and Repairs (essential)
• Proven experience in servicing and repairing trailers
• Strong mechanical aptitude and attention to detail
• Strong diagnostic skills
• Ability to work independently and within a team environment
• Must have own tools

Desirable:

• Forklift Licence
• Working at Heights and EWP tickets
