Casual Childcare Assistant

We are seeking a caring and reliable Casual Childcare Assistant, qualified or unqualified, to join our supportive and friendly childcare team.

About the Position
You will work a minimum of 4 hours per day (10:00am – 2:00pm), assisting educators during lunch and rest time. This position has the potential to transition into a full-time role for individuals wishing to pursue a Certificate III in Early Childhood Education and Care (if not already qualified).

Key Responsibilities:

• Supporting children during lunch and rest time
• Maintaining a safe and clean environment
• Assisting educators with daily childcare routines

Requirements:

• Working with Children Blue Card (or willingness to obtain)
• Strong communication skills
• This role is ideal for someone seeking part-time hours and a rewarding position in early childhood care.

Ideally, you will also have or be willing to obtain:

• Apply First Aid, CPR, and Asthma and Anaphylaxis certifications
