Tyree Transformers design and manufacture Distribution and Power Transformers. About you

Tyree’s Fabrication Team play an integral role in the making of our products. Due to ongoing growth, we now have an exciting opportunity for a new Robot Programmer to join the team. To be successful in this role you will be able to demonstrate:

• Experience working with, and programming, a CNC machine or Robot (Robotic arc welding)

• Prior welding or manufacturing experience 

• Attention to detail and a drive for higher efficiencies

• Good organizational skills

• The ability to manage multiple priorities and work in a dynamic fast-changing environment

• The ability to work autonomously to achieve set tasks in a timely and efficient manner and demonstrate high levels of self-motivation and drive

• The ability to read drawings and basic computer coding skills

• A current Forklift License

In addition, the following desired attributes would be beneficial although not essential as training can be provided where necessary:

• Fanuc robot with Lincoln welder experience would be a bonus or any other similar robot welders

• Basic computer skills plus Excel and Word

• Knowledge of PMC programming or C++
