About the role
This position will suit an experienced mechanic who is comfortable working on a variety of equipment and can manage tasks independently. The successful applicant will be a self-motivated tradesperson who is confident working independently and has a strong mechanical background. AURUKUN FIFO FROM CAIRNS.
Key responsibilities
Light vehicles and LV mechanical work
Small engines
Small trucks
Plant and machinery
Mechanical fault finding and repairs
Preventative maintenance and servicing
Diagnosing and repairing mechanical issues
Working independently and managing day-to-day mechanical requirements
About you
Qualified LV Fitter / Mechanic
Relevant trade qualifications
Strong mechanical knowledge and practical skills
Experience working independently
Reliable, punctual and self-motivated
Good problem-solving and diagnostic skills
High standard of workmanship
Ability to work safely and efficiently
Plant or machinery experience highly regarded
A current driver's licence
