Lead, Influence and Improve Mental Health Outcomes
Join Metro South Addiction and Mental Health Services as a Clinical Nurse Consultant and lead specialist Clozapine care, driving safe, evidence-based practice and improving outcomes for consumers across community and inpatient settings.
Your New Role
As the Clinical Nurse Consultant - Clozapine Service, you'll provide advanced clinical leadership and expert consultancy to support the safe, effective delivery of Clozapine therapy across community and inpatient mental health services. Working collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams, you'll lead quality improvement initiatives, provide specialist education and clinical guidance, and ensure consumers receive recovery-focused, evidence-based care that meets legislative and professional standards.
Lead specialist Clozapine services across community and inpatient settings.Coordinate Clozapine clinics and the General Practitioner Shared Care Program.Deliver person-centred, recovery-focused care that improves consumer outcomes.Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams and external stakeholders.
About You
You are an experienced mental health nurse with advanced clinical expertise, a passion for leadership and a commitment to improving outcomes for people receiving Clozapine therapy. You thrive in collaborative environments, influence positive change and inspire others through clinical excellence and compassionate care.
Strong knowledge of Clozapine management, monitoring and relevant legislation.Demonstrated leadership, mentoring and multidisciplinary collaboration skills.Advanced clinical decision-making, problem-solving and critical thinking skills.Commitment to recovery-oriented, person-centred mental health care.
