About the role
The Maintenance Store Person is responsible for the efficient day-to-day operation of the Maintenance Store, ensuring spare parts, tools, and maintenance materials are accurately stored, controlled, and readily available to support site operations. Working closely with Maintenance, Engineering, and Operations teams, the role focuses on inventory accuracy, warehouse organisation, safety compliance, and timely support of maintenance activities.

You are a highly organised and proactive Storeperson with experience in inventory control, warehousing, or maintenance stores within a manufacturing, industrial, or engineering environment. You take pride in maintaining accurate stock levels, keeping stores well organised, and ensuring critical parts and materials are available when needed to support operational performance.
You have a strong attention to detail and a safety-first mindset, with the ability to manage multiple priorities while maintaining accuracy and efficiency. Comfortable working independently, you are also a collaborative team player who can build effective working relationships with Maintenance, Engineering, and Operations teams.
You are confident using inventory systems, managing stock movements, and maintaining high standards of housekeeping and organisation. Most importantly, you understand the impact that effective spare parts and inventory management has on reducing downtime and supporting the smooth operation of a manufacturing site.
