About the Role
We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Lifestyle & Leisure Coordinator to join our team in this rewarding part-time role (4 days per week).
You will coordinate and deliver engaging lifestyle, recreational and social programs that enhance residents' wellbeing, independence and quality of life while encouraging meaningful connection and participation.
Key Responsibilities
As the Lifestyle & Leisure Coordinator, you will:
Plan, facilitate and evaluate lifestyle and leisure programs.
Coordinate activities, special events, outings and one-on-one resident engagement.
Encourage resident participation in a supportive and inclusive environment.
Maintain program documentation and records.
Work collaboratively with residents, families, volunteers and the broader care team.
Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives that enhance resident wellbeing.
About You
To be successful in this role, you will have:
Certificate IV in Leisure and Health, Diversional Therapy, Recreation or a related qualification.
Minimum 1+ years’ experience in a lifestyle, leisure or recreation role within aged care, disability support or community services.
Experience planning and facilitating recreational, social or educational programs.
Current First Aid and CPR Certificate.
Current NDIS Worker Screening Check or ability to obtain.
Strong communication, organisational and computer skills, including Microsoft Office and Canva.
A creative, proactive and resident-focused approach.
