Senior Cyber Analyst

Candidates must be an Australian citizen with the ability to obtain a baseline security clearance.

We are seeking a highly motivated and organised person to join our dynamic Cyber Uplift team in the Digital branch. As the APS6 Cyber Analyst, you will apply your advanced cyber security knowledge to deliver technical project components, conduct assessments, implement security controls, and provide specialist input that enables evidence-based decision-making throughout the project lifecycle. 

You will contribute to project planning and execution by defining technical requirements, conducting security testing, preparing compliance documentation, and delivering technical workstreams to strengthen our security posture in accordance with relevant legislation and Commission policies and procedures. You will exercise both initiative and judgement in the interpretation of policy and in the application of practices and procedures.

Highly developed communication and stakeholder engagement skills are essential as is the ability to think outside the box. As part of a team, you translate complex technical analysis into clear, actionable intelligence and recommendations, preparing decision-ready briefings, risk assessments and options papers that inform project direction and supports evidence-based security improvements.
