At the City of Armadale, you’ll oversee more than 2,000 electrical assets that keep our community running. One day you might be coordinating contractors on a sports lighting upgrade; the next, reviewing electrical compliance in community facilities or planning renewal works across parks, reserves and public spaces.

This is a role for someone who enjoys balancing hands on technical oversight with project delivery, contractor leadership and strategic thinking. You’ll be the person ensuring our electrical infrastructure is safe, compliant and ready for the future.

The Role
As the City’s Electrical Supervisor, you’ll lead the delivery of electrical maintenance, renewal and capital works programs across a diverse asset portfolio. You’ll provide technical advice, oversee contractors, ensure compliance with legislation and Australian Standards, and drive safe, high quality outcomes for the community.
You will: 

• Lead electrical maintenance, renewal and capital works across facilities, parks, reserves, sporting infrastructure and street lighting.
• Coordinate and supervise contractors to ensure safe, compliant and high standard delivery.
• Prepare scopes, specifications, procurement documentation and project plans.
• Monitor contractor performance, budgets and service delivery outcomes.
• Provide authoritative technical advice across a wide range of electrical assets.
• Inspect completed works and ensure quality, safety and compliance requirements are met.
• Identify improvement opportunities and support better asset performance and service delivery.

This is a visible, impactful role where your decisions directly support the safety, reliability and long term planning of essential community infrastructure.

About You
You’re a qualified electrician who enjoys variety, takes ownership and knows how to deliver safe, compliant and high quality electrical work. You’re confident managing contractors, comfortable making technical decisions, and motivated by seeing projects through from planning to handover.
You’ll bring:

• A current Electrical Licence.
• Experience delivering electrical maintenance, infrastructure or capital works programs.
• Experience supervising contractors and service providers.
• Strong knowledge of electrical legislation, Australian Standards and WHS requirements.
• Well developed planning, communication and problem solving skills.
• A Construction Induction Card (White Card) and current C Class Driver’s Licence.
