ABOUT THE ROLE
Join JJ’s as an HR Truck Driver / Waste Operator based out of our Hobart depot, serving the local area.

You’ll be behind the wheel of our safe, modern, and well-maintained waste collection vehicle - supported by our bespoke in truck technologies.

As we are an essential service provider, you will benefit from a stable and permanent role, regular hours with the opportunity for overtime, attractive pay rates, and bonuses.

ABOUT YOU

• Hold a current HR licence

• Experience with Rear Lift, Crane, Hook Lift, Side Lift, or Front Lift trucks is preferred (however, full training will be provided)

• Reliable and punctual - you show up on time, ready to get the job done

• An early riser – with shifts commencing from 5am.

• Able to follow a driver run sheet, but flexible and resourceful enough to adapt on the go

• Physically capable and enough strength to engage in regular manual handling, including loading and unloading bins

• Professional and approachable - the friendly face of JJs to our customers and a team player

• Safety-conscious and committed to following all policies and procedures

• Willing to complete a pre-employment medical and drug/alcohol test

• Able to provide a 5-year traffic history at the interview
