Requirements of Storeperson role:

• Monitor stock levels and coordinate replenishment

• Conduct regular stock counts and reconcile inventory discrepancies

• Ensure proper storage and handling of engineering materials

• Ensure goods received match purchase orders and delivery documentation

• Communicate with suppliers regarding shipment status and delivery requirements

• Receive, store, assemble, pack and/or unpack goods

• Assist with the coordination of battery and power operated tools and some plant equipment – maintenance, testing and tagging, cleaning, servicing schedules. (highly desirable but not essential)

• Ensure smooth flow of receiving inbound materials & processing of orders

• Assist Tradesmen as required & directed by the Purchasing Manager or Supervisor

• Maintain stores area in a clean state

• Deliver goods from store to customer locations and maintain consumables across our site

• Load and/or unload vehicles and/or trucks as required. (Forklift/HR license desirable)

• Uphold & obey all workplace WHSE requirements, as instructed by company policies and procedures

Important requirements of the role

• Minimum 2 years' experience as a storeperson

• Proficiency in using an RF system and computer literacy is required

• C-class license

• Previous experience working in an engineering warehouse environment is desirable
