Roster: Casual | Various shifts and hours available
Pay: $27.08 base rate + casual loading + penalty rates (as applicable)

We are seeking a motivated Catering Assistant to join our aged care team in Hamilton. In this hands-on role, you will support the preparation and service of nutritious, high-quality meals that contribute to the health and wellbeing of residents.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist with meal preparation and service delivery
• Prepare and present texture-modified foods with care and precision
• Deliver friendly, efficient service with a smile
• Maintain a clean, organised, and safe kitchen
• Follow all food safety, hygiene, and WHS procedures

About You

• Previous experience in a kitchen hand, catering assistant, or hospitality role
• Exposure to aged care, healthcare, or contract catering environments (desirable)
• Ability to follow procedures and work efficiently under pressure
• Good communication skills and a positive team attitude
• A respectful and caring approach to working in aged care
