Assistant Project Manager - Industrial Development

Australia Sunshine Development Pty Ltd is a fast-growing company specialising in industrial property development, chemical products manufacturing and international building materials trade, with operations across Australia, the Asia-Pacific region and China.

We are seeking an Assistant Project Manager – Industrial Development to work closely with the Director and project team across the full property development lifecycle, including site due diligence, town planning, subdivision, approvals and project coordination.

• Assist with the coordination of industrial property development projects from feasibility study through to development delivery

• Assist with site due diligence, feasibility analysis, planning and development approvals

• Coordinate town planning, subdivision and Plan of Subdivision processes

• Liaise with councils, government authorities and external consultants

• Coordinate town planners, surveyors, civil engineers, traffic consultants, architects and other project consultants

• Track project milestones, approvals, deliverables and key deadlines

• Assist with project documentation, reports, budgets and development feasibility

• Support site investigations, property acquisition and development-related research

• Attend project meetings, prepare minutes and follow up outstanding actions

• Work closely with the Director on strategic property development projects

• Communicate with Australian and Chinese stakeholders in English and Mandarin

• Experience in property development, project management, town planning, construction, surveying, engineering or a related field

• Practical understanding of industrial/commercial property development

• Knowledge or experience in town planning, planning permits, subdivision and development approvals

• Experience coordinating consultants and/or working with councils and government authorities

• Strong project coordination, organisational and communication skills

• Excellent spoken and written Mandarin Chinese (普通话) and English

• Strong Microsoft Office skills

• Ability to work independently, proactively and manage multiple priorities

• Valid Australian driver's licence

• Experience in industrial property development

• Experience with subdivision / Plan of Subdivision

• Experience with Victorian planning processes and local councils

• Property acquisition or development due diligence experience

• Qualifications in Property, Planning, Construction, Engineering, Surveying, Project Management or a related field

• Experience working with Chinese investors, developers or business partners

• NAATI or equivalent certification
