About the role
Rural Health Tasmania is looking for a passionate and experienced, Team Leader to lead our No. 34 Aboriginal Health Service!
This is a unique opportunity to lead a diverse and purpose driven team delivering a broad range of services across our community.
You will provide strong day to day leadership, support your team through team meetings and supervision, build community partnerships and help ensure our services are culturally safe, connected and making a genuine difference.

To apply for this role please send your current resume as well as a cover letter covering the following criteria;
Relevant qualifications in Leadership, Community Services, Aboriginal Health or other relevant field.
Leadership experience, (minimum 2-3 years) with a passion for supervision, mentoring, guiding, and empowering teams.
High level of written and oral skills, including the demonstrated ability to write and present clearly and concisely, prepare reports, papers and correspondence.
Strong understanding of multi disciplinary collaboration, particularly in a community health setting.
Demonstrated knowledge and/or understanding of current Aboriginal & Torres Strait Islander health issues particularly within the Tasmanian context and key issues within the broader health care system.
Demonstrated experience in and understanding of the principles of project/program management and evaluation, including an ability to design, develop and implement programs and services, team coordination and multiple program coordination.
Current Australian Drivers License
Current Working With Vulnerable Persons Registration
Current (within 3 months) National Police Check
