The opportunity

We are seeking a motivated Operations Assistant to support the delivery of high-quality cleaning services across multiple sites. This role is responsible for supporting daily operations, maintaining service standards, and providing leadership and training to a team of cleaners.

You will work closely with our Operation Manager to provide services commercial and residential clients, including NDIS participants, ensuring services are delivered with empathy, professionalism, and a strong focus on client wellbeing.

Key Responsibilities

• Team Supervision: Lead, mentor, and train a team of cleaners, promoting a supportive work environment focused on growth and collaboration.

• Operational Management: Oversee the cleaning operations across assigned sites, ensuring safety, compliance, and quality standards are consistently met.

• Client Engagement: Communicate effectively with clients, carers, and NDIS participants to ensure services meet their unique needs and expectations.

• Site Audits & Reporting: Conduct regular site inspections to maintain cleaning standards and address any issues. Provide accurate reports on performance metrics and safety compliance.

• Continuous Improvement: Identify opportunities to improve service delivery and operational efficiency.

What you Bring

• Leadership: Proven experience in supervising cleaning teams or similar roles, with the ability to motivate and guide staff.

• Operational Experience: At least 1-2 years of experience in the cleaning or facility services sector, ideally in a supervisory capacity.

• Empathy & Understanding: Ability to work effectively with clients, particularly in residential and care environments.

• Strong Communication Skills: Ability to liaise with clients, manage relationships, and resolve issues professionally.

• Systems Proficiency: Experience using systems for rostering, auditing, and reporting.

• Attention to Detail: Ability to manage compliance reporting, timesheets, and ensure high standards are upheld.

• NDIS Workers Screening Clearance (or willingness to obtain)

• Current Australian Driver Licence (Mandatory)

• Work Authorisation: Must have current Australian work authorisation to be eligible for this position.
