About the role
Kailis Jewellery is renowned for featuring the highest quality Australian South Sea pearls in contemporary and fresh jewellery designs. We have 5 boutiques located in WA , plus a burgeoning online business.
We are seeking a highly experienced Inventory Manager to be responsible for our supply chain and logistics team within our Subiaco Office. This team is the heart of our business in ensuring all of products meet our exacting standards before they go out to our customers. This is a permanent position, working Monday to Friday from 7am to 3.30pm.
Key activities:
Team Management - ensuring the team is well supported in all the tasks they do including but not limited to, logistics, repairs, quality control, stock replenishment, pearling.
Inventory Control - management and control of all stock movements from suppliers, boutiques, stock forecasting, special makes, quality control
Supplier Management - communicate and manage supplier relationships, order stock, communicate cashflow requirements with accountant
Workflow Process Management - there is an element of this role to review the current processes and consider do are these fit for purpose given are current systems.
Key requirements:
Must be able to work at a fast pace and be responsive to requests for assistance
Strong attention to detail, even when under pressure
Great communicator with pragmatic approach in working through situations
Good with working cloud based inventory systems and ability to "work it out"
Ability to work independently and as part of a small team
Jewellery and/or retail industry experience is advantageous
Team Management experience of at least 3 years
Candidates must be able to demonstrate:
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Well organised and able to prioritise competing demands
High proficiency in Excel, cloud based Inventory and workflow management systems
The right to work in Australia on a full-time basis
A National Australian Police Clearance
