The experience of living with a mental illness can sometimes be an uncomfortable topic for our members and families.

At the Academy, members are invited to take ownership of their lived experience and use it to inspire others. We celebrate the courage it takes to face and overcome mental health challenges.

Whether it’s through writing an article for our newsletters, helping a potential member feel at ease on their first tour, or speaking at one of our events, members raise awareness and provide living testimony that mental health recovery is possible.
