• CNC Machinists

• Fitters & Turners

• Programming, setting and operating CNC lathes and machining centres.

• Reading and interpreting engineering drawings.

• Machining components to tight tolerances.

• Conducting quality checks using precision measuring equipment.

• Maintaining a safe and organised work area.

• Assembly, repair and overhaul of mining and industrial equipment.

• Strip, inspect and rebuild gearboxes, pumps, shafts and mechanical components.

• Read and interpret engineering drawings.

• Diagnose mechanical faults and complete repairs to a high standard.

• Work both independently and within a team.

• Australian Trade Qualification (or recognised equivalent).

• Previous experience in a heavy engineering or mining environment.

• Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings.

• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.

• Commitment to workplace safety and quality workmanship.

• Ability to work well within a team.

• Reliable with a positive attitude and strong work ethic.

• Forklift License.

• Overhead Crane Ticket.

• Dogging or Rigging Tickets.

• Experience machining or repairing large mining equipment.

• Competitive hourly rates based on experience.
