Casual Caretaker – Luxury Resort Properties | Noosa

We are seeking a reliable, hands-on Caretaker to help maintain the presentation and day-to-day upkeep of our luxury resort properties in Noosa.

This role is ideal for someone who is proactive, trustworthy, and takes genuine pride in maintaining premium properties to the highest standard. You will work independently, ensuring our resorts remain clean, safe, and well-presented for owners and guests.

This position will commence as a casual role, with the opportunity to transition to permanent employment for the right candidate.

Hours

• 5:30am – 9:00am
• Shifts available any day of the week
• Weekend availability is essential

Key Responsibilities

• Complete daily inspections of common areas, facilities, and outdoor spaces.
• Maintain public areas to an exceptional presentation standard.
• Carry out minor maintenance tasks, including light repairs and replacing light bulbs.
• Perform basic gardening and grounds maintenance.
• Manage bins, rubbish areas, and general property cleanliness.
• Report maintenance issues, hazards, and safety concerns promptly.
• Assist with contractors and other operational tasks as required.
• Help ensure all properties are maintained to a luxury resort standard.

About You

• Reliable, punctual, and able to work independently.
• Available to work weekends (essential).
• Practical, hands-on, and confident completing basic maintenance tasks.
• Experienced in gardening and general property upkeep.
• Strong attention to detail and a commitment to high standards.
• Comfortable working across multiple resort properties in Noosa.
• Friendly and professional when interacting with guests, owners, contractors, and team members.

Previous experience in a caretaker, maintenance, groundskeeping, or handyman role will be highly regarded.
