M.J. Bale is searching for a confident, ambitious and commercially driven Assistant Store Business Manager to help lead our Westfield Parramatta store.

This is more than a senior sales position. It is an opportunity to build your leadership capability, take real ownership of store performance and develop the experience required to become a future Store Business Manager.

From business wardrobes and special events to weddings and everyday style, you will help ensure every customer receives knowledgeable, personalised and memorable service.

Working alongside the Store Business Manager, you will lead from the shop floor, motivate the team and help turn commercial opportunities into outstanding results.

As Assistant Store Business Manager, you will be a visible and influential leader within the store.

You will:

• Partner with the Store Business Manager to achieve and exceed sales targets.
• Lead from the front and set the standard for premium customer service.
• Drive sales, conversion, average transaction value and customer engagement.
• Coach and motivate employees to improve their confidence and performance.
• Run engaging daily briefings and maintain focus on commercial priorities.
• Build strong client relationships and encourage repeat business.
• Deliver personalised styling advice across tailoring, businesswear and casual collections.
• Develop expert knowledge of M.J. Bale products, fabrics, fits and construction.
• Support rostering, floor coverage and the effective organisation of the team.
• Maintain premium visual merchandising and store presentation standards.
• Assist with stock management, loss prevention and operational compliance.
• Analyse results and identify practical opportunities to improve performance.
• Confidently take responsibility for the store in the Store Business Manager’s absence.
• Help create an accountable, energetic and supportive team culture.

You will bring:

• Previous experience in a retail leadership, supervisory or senior sales role.
• A strong history of achieving sales targets and key performance indicators.

• Strong communication skills and the ability to connect with a broad customer base.
• The ability to coach, motivate and provide constructive feedback.

• Flexibility to work across the retail roster, including weekends.
