Gold Coast Disability and Youth:
Gold Coast Disability and Youth (GCDAY) is a locally founded provider of disability support, NDIS services and youth programs across the Gold Coast. What began in 2019 as one support worker's vision to help teens and young adults on the autism spectrum has grown into a diverse organisation spanning for-profit, not-for-profit and profit-for-purpose entities all working under one shared mission: real opportunity, real connection and real impact for the young people and communities we serve.

Your Role:
As Social Enterprise Manager, you’ll lead the growth, sustainability and governance of GCDAY's charitable and social enterprise arm. Sitting on the Leadership Team, you’ll secure funding, drive grant strategy, and build new social enterprises from developing our Farm Project to emerging community and domestic support ventures, that create meaningful outcomes for participants and long-term sustainability for GCDAY.
You’ll bring strong knowledge of NDIS community initiatives, NESQ Community Grants and Thriving Kids Project funding, and a genuinely collaborative style, we grow this business together, alongside our staff, participants and stakeholders, not from the top down.
We are looking for someone who can:
Drive the strategic growth and day-to-day management of GCDAY's charity and social enterprise portfolio
Build the systems, policies and digital tools that let programs scale sustainably
Track outcomes, participant engagement and social impact through solid data and reporting
Identify, write and manage grant applications across NDIS, NESQ Community Grants, Thriving Kids and government funding streams
Own milestone reporting, compliance and funder relationships
Manage budgets and charitable expenditure with full transparency and governance
Develop new social enterprises
Build lasting partnerships with businesses, schools, government and community organisations
Represent GCDAY at community events and networking opportunities, promoting our impact
Report to the Executive Team on financial performance, grant outcomes and program impact
Keep GCDAY compliant with NDIS Practice Standards, safeguarding, charity regulation, privacy and WHS obligations
Required:
Runs on the board managing charity programs, social enterprises or community services
Strong grant writing, funding submissions and compliance know-how
Experience managing grant funding, charitable income and project budgets
A track record of building new community initiatives or social enterprises
Great stakeholder relationships and a collaborative, consultative leadership style
Sharp written communication and solid project management skills
Current National Police Check
Working with Children Check (Blue Card)
NDIS Worker Screening Check
Current Driver's License
A car and comprehensive car insurance
Desirable:
NESQ Community Grants or other youth/disability grant experience
NDIS or disability sector background
Experience launching new social enterprises
Relevant qualifications – Business, Community Services, Social Enterprise, Project Management, Disability Services or related
