About The Role

We’re looking for a full-time Store Manager to lead our high-performing team at The Athlete’s Foot Marrickville! This is an incredible opportunity for an experienced retail leader who’s passionate about people, performance, and making a positive impact. Working closely with your Area Manager, you’ll be at the heart of driving strong operational performance, elevating customer service, and fostering community connections that extend beyond the store.

As Store Manager, You'll

Lead day-to-day store operations including sales, KPIs, visual merchandising, stock management, and shrinkageMotivate and develop your team to achieve business targets and deliver exceptional customer experiencesMonitor sales performance and implement actions to meet daily, weekly, and monthly goalsManage wage budgets and rosters in line with company standards and GRIA guidelinesChampion team development through training, coaching, and succession planningCreate a strong, positive store culture focused on results, learning, and wellbeingBuild community engagement through sporting partnerships and healthcare relationshipsEnsure OH&S compliance in line with national and state requirements

Skills And Experience

Proven experience as a Store Manager or Senior Assistant Store Manager in a fast-paced retail environmentA confident, hands-on ‘Make it Happen’ attitude and a passion for leading from the frontExperience developing high-performing teams and inspiring a culture of successStrong operational know-how in rostering, wage control, visual merchandising, and stockStrategic thinking and the ability to identify opportunities for improvementSkilled in building effective relationships with support office teams and local partners
