About the role
Lansvale Motor Group is looking for a motivated and enthusiastic Trainee Parts Interpreter/Storeperson to join our growing Parts Department.
This is an excellent opportunity for someone looking to build a long-term career in the automotive industry. You'll receive on the- ob training while learning all aspects of automotive parts interpretation, customer service and inventory management/warehousing. If you're eager to learn, enjoy working with people, and have a passion for cars, we'd love to hear from you.
About the Role
Reporting to the Parts Manager, you will receive hands-on training and be responsible for learning to:
• Assist workshop technicians, trade customers, and retail customers with parts enquiries
• Learn to identify and interpret automotive parts using manufacturer catalogues and dealership systems
• Build relationships with internal and external customers and suppliers.
• Process parts orders accurately and efficiently
• Assist with stock control, receiving deliveries, and inventory management
• Maintain a clean, organised, and efficient parts department
• Deliver outstanding customer service in person, over the phone, and via email
• Develop knowledge of ERA DMS and manufacturer systems
What We're Looking For
• A genuine interest in the automotive industry
• A willingness to learn and develop new skills
• Excellent communication and customer service skills
• A positive attitude and strong work ethic
• Good attention to detail and organisational skills
• Ability to work well in a team environment
• Basic computer skills
• A current driver's licence (preferred)
No previous Parts Interpreter experience is required we'll provide the training and support your need to succeed.
