Casual Housekeeper – Jeffery's Motel, Toowoomba

Jeffery's Motel is looking for a motivated Casual Housekeeper to join our friendly team at our 3.5-star property in Toowoomba.

About the Role
As a key member of our housekeeping team, you will ensure our guest rooms and common areas are maintained to the highest standards of cleanliness and comfort.

• Responsibilities:

  • Detailed cleaning and servicing of guest rooms, including stripping and making beds.

  • Dusting, vacuuming, and polishing surfaces.

  • Managing laundry and replenishing amenities.

  • Reporting any maintenance issues or defective fixtures to management.

  • Maintaining a tidy and organised workspace.

• Schedule & Pay:

  • Casual role with shifts generally starting in the morning.

  • Flexible roster across 7 days, including some weekend work.

  • Competitive pay based on the Cleaning Services Award, which for a Level 1 casual employee starts around $32.31 per hour (including casual loading), with higher rates for Saturdays ($45.24), Sundays ($58.16), and public holidays ($71.09).

What We’re Looking For

• Previous experience in motel or hotel housekeeping is preferred but not essential.

• Strong attention to detail and a "can-do" attitude.

• Ability to work independently and as part of a small, supportive team.

• Physical fitness to handle the hands-on nature of the role.

• Reliable transportation to our location at 864 Ruthven Street, Toowoomba.
