Why This Role:Are you passionate about all things automotive and customer experience? We are seeking an experienced, talented and driven Technical Specialist with diagnostic, electrification and advanced technologies experience to join our Aftersales team.As a Technical Specialist at Geely Australia, you will play a vital role in providing a premium level of dealer support and technical assistance to ensure timely resolutions of technical concerns across the dealer network.You will also contribute to the design and delivery of technical training programs that uplift dealer technician capability and ensure knowledge consistency across the network.
Key responsibilities:Provide an exceptional standard of technical support for the Geely Australia dealer partners that drives Customer Satisfaction and Net Promoter ScoresProvide specialist end-to-end technical support, education and process development for a seamless customer experienceEnsure efficient, timely and accurate resolutions to product-related technical topics and dealer concerns, ensuring a “fix-it-right first time” approach and a premium customer experience.Provide real-time and coordinated dealer Technician coaching, mentoring and guidance on technical processes, connected services, diagnostic techniques, repair procedures and systemsProvide on-site dealer technical support for escalated cases or related technical matters as requiredReview trends, compile and provide accurate and timely product technical reporting to the manufacturer for quality analysisEnsure that all dealer partners follow the relevant manufacturer processes for diagnosis, repairs, technical incident escalations and reporting.Deliver front-line diagnostic and repair support to dealer technicians across the network.Design, develop and deliver technical training content—including face-to-face, virtual, and hands-on modules—aligned with product launches, repair procedures, and system updates.Collaborate with HQ and internal departments to ensure all training material is accurate, brand-aligned, and adapted for local market needs.Monitor dealer technician training progress, maintain training records, and support certification programs to ensure technician competency across the dealer network.
Job Requirements:Technical working experience or similar within an Automotive OEM or Master Technicians willing to take the next step in their careers.Competence and Experience with Connected Services Technologies highly desirableCompetence and Experience with EV Technologies highly desirablePrevious experience in delivering technical training, developing training content, or facilitating workshops is highly regardedAutomotive training certification or adult learning qualification (e.g., Cert IV in Training and Assessment) is a plusProcess and procedural orientation, analytical mindset with the ability to interpret data with an attention to detailCustomer satisfaction mentality with the ability to identify quality improvement opportunitiesRelevant Tertiary qualifications within Automotive landscapeExceptional communication skills, both written and verbalStrong influencing and negotiation skillsTeam player with a collaborative and proactive approach to problem-solving
