About the role
Muirs is a fourth-generation Australian family-owned agribusiness established in 1927. We are seeking a Sales Agronomist to join our Berrigan team and work alongside progressive broadacre growers throughout the Southern NSW/Riverina region.
This role is ideal for an experienced agronomist looking to build long-term customer relationships and provide practical, commercially focused agronomic advice.
About the Role
Working closely with local growers, you will:
Develop and maintain strong customer relationships.
Provide agronomic advice across crop protection, plant nutrition and seed.
Identify opportunities to improve customer productivity and profitability.
Prepare crop plans and recommend practical, value-added solutions.
Work collaboratively with the Berrigan, Yarrawonga and Wangaratta team and the wider Regional Broadacre Team to grow the business.
Essential Requirements
Bachelor of Agricultural Science or a related tertiary qualification.
Sound understanding of broadacre cropping systems and agronomic principles.
Excellent communication and relationship-building skills.
Commercial mindset with the ability to identify opportunities and deliver customer-focused solutions.
Self-motivated with strong organisational and time management skills.
Current Australian Driver's Licence.
Competent computer skills.
Highly Regarded
Previous experience as a Sales Agronomist or Agronomist.
Knowledge of Southern NSW broadacre farming systems.
Experience in agricultural chemicals, fertiliser or seed sales.
Existing relationships within the local farming community.
