As our Digital Strategy Lead, you'll drive commercial growth across 7NEWS.com.au, 7You and The Nightly - owning revenue opportunities, strengthening our video proposition, and building smarter packages that lift the value of every campaign. We're after a creative, ideas-driven thinker who can turn content moments into commercial packages that stand out - working closely with Editorial, Sales, AdTech and Commercial Product teams from pitch to delivery.

What does your day to day look like?

• Own and grow revenue across 7NEWS.com.au, 7You and The Nightly, building a strong pipeline of proactive and client-led campaigns.
• Partner with the 7You editorial team on client briefs, building stronger upsell pathways and adaptable commercial packages - using the editorial calendar to shape propositions around major moments like the Logies and Black Friday.
• Arm sales and partnerships teams with the insights, collateral and pricing tools they need to win business.
• Develop a commercial proposition for on-platform video, tapping into 300% year-on-year view growth, and work with AdTech and AdOps to improve yield and packaging of video inventory.
• Lead a commercial audit of our platforms, shaping a prioritised roadmap and sharper value proposition, and support campaign delivery and reporting to drive repeat business.

What you’ll need:

• 5+ years' experience in a commercial, sales or partnership’s role within digital media, publishing or broadcast.
• Proven experience developing and selling integrated commercial packages across multiple platforms.
• Solid understanding of digital advertising and video monetisation, including AdTech/AdOps.
• A strategic mindset, with experience turning commercial audits into actionable roadmaps.
• Great communication and stakeholder skills across editorial, sales and product teams.
• A creative, ideas-driven problem-solver who can shape content moments into packages clients can't say no to.
