About the role

As an Accounts & Finance Assistant, you will play a key role in supporting the day-to-day financial operations of the business. This position is ideal for a candidate who enjoys working with numbers, has strong attention to detail, and thrives in a fast-paced environment.

Key responsibilities

• Processing accounts payable and receivable

• Conducting daily bank reconciliations and transaction monitoring

• Issuing invoices and managing debtor follow-ups

• Assisting with payroll, BAS preparation, and financial reporting

• Data entry, maintaining financial records, and managing internal finance systems

• Providing administrative support for finance, compliance, and operational projects

About you

• 1–3 years' experience in an accounts or finance-related role

• Proficiency with Xero, MYOB, or similar accounting software

• Strong Microsoft Excel skills (Intermediate to Advanced)

• High attention to detail and accuracy

• Excellent time management and organisational skills

• A positive, proactive attitude and willingness to learn

• Accounting or finance qualifications (highly regarded)
